When someone files a restraining order against you, they are challenging your rights and good name. If someone wants to file or has filed, don't take such action sitting down. Protect your freedoms and best interests.

It is possible that someone feels threatened without warrant or is lying about feeling unsafe in order to cast a shade of doubt on your reputation. One recent case that has drawn national media attention shows how anyone can attempt to file a restraining or protective order against a person and how paranoia can be dangerous to the freedoms of innocent, upstanding citizens - even to Jesus.

"I was trespassed from the Kangaroo Gas Station on University Station for saying T-Bo sucks," testified a Florida man who feels his life is at risk from three famous figures. He wanted the court to issue restraining orders against NFL player Tim Tebow, President Barack Obama and Jesus.

According to reports, the filer believes that the members of the trio are working as gang members, and they have threatened him. The gang affiliation argument stems from the man's account that he has seen Tebow, Obama and Jesus all making gang symbols for him to see.

Based on the above quote, it sounds like the Florida man thinks that his life was endangered by the various figures when he made disparaging remarks about the Broncos quarterback. Why the president and Jesus would realistically be involved with allegedly threatening behavior is a connection that the court could not piece together. Nor did it believe that Tebow was any sort of real threat to the man's well-being.

The court quickly denied the man's requests; therefore, he has no restraining order against Tebow, Obama or Jesus. It's a conclusion that the man is unhappy with, and sources note that he plans on appealing the decision.
