Over the past year, it seems as though we can't go a day without hearing a new story about top-paid TV actor Charlie Sheen. The star, who played "Wild Thing" in the hit move Major League, has been on a wild ride, a ride that he defends passionately against his many harsh critics.
One of his critics, however, has taken a legal action against Sheen that hits him very personally and will take swift legal action to defend. According to very recent reports, Sheen's soon-to-be third ex-wife Brooke Mueller filed an emergency restraining order against him, and as a result, the couple's two twin boys were taken out of Sheen's home last night.
ABC News reported this morning that Mueller chose to file the restraining order after Sheen allegedly threatened her life. Whereas some might expect Sheen to lash out due to his recent unpredictable behavior, the star has actually remained calm, simply denying his ex's allegations.
Sources write that Sheen was already seen with his lawyer after watching his kids leave with police. He has made a statement to reporters, intended for Mueller. Again, he maintained a sense of calm while insisting that his home was a safe and loving place for the twins. He urges Mueller to contact him to personally work out the matter for the sake of the family.
With the rapid pace at which Sheen news has been developing lately, there is sure to be an update to this story soon. We will add a post when such developments take place.
